On my wishlist

On my wish list is a fun little weekly meme hosted by Book Chick City. These are the books that I really want to buy or borrow, and then I drool over everyone else's wish lists and add even more books to my already enormous TBR list.

Ashlyn Baptiste is falling. One moment she was nothing—no memories, no self—and then suddenly, she's plummeting through a sea of stars. Is she in a coma? She doesn't remember dying, and she has no memories of the life she left behind. All she knows is that she's trapped in a consciousness without a body and she's spending every moment watching a stranger.
Breckon Cody's on the edge. He's being ripped apart by grief so intense it literally hurts to breath. On the surface, Breckon is trying to hold it together for his family and his girlfriend, but underneath he's barely hanging on.
Even though she didn't know him in life, Ashlyn sees Breckon's pain, and she's determined to find a way help him. As her own distressing memories emerge from the darkness, she struggles to communicate with the boy who can't see her, but whose life is suddenly intertwined with hers.

Hankies at the ready, this sounds like a total weepie. This is another book I already have pre-ordered after reading a couple of early reviews on goodreads. Apparently it will appeal to fans of Sarah Dessen (that's me), John Green (and me) and David Levithan (also me). I can't wait.

  1. Definitely a weepie! In fact just the blurb almost has me reaching for my hanky. :)

  2. Wow this is so different. This sounds really interesting, it will definitely be going on my to-read pile!

  3. I want to read this one as well. Sounds like it'll be a good emotional read. Hope you get to read it soon :)

  4. I agree, it sounds like an emotional read.

  5. I added this one to my wishlist this week! It really does sound amazing and very sad doesnt it!? I hope we both get it soon!

  6. Guess I need to read this (and buy hankies, since it really sounds a weepie one!)

I love getting comments so thanks for taking the time to leave one.
