I only discovered Jill Shalvis's Lucky Harbour series this year, I've adored her blend of romance, humour and characters that are sooooo easy to fall in love with.

Under the Mistletoe is Mia's story (Tara and Ford's daughter from The Sweetest Thing). Mia has been seeing Nick for 6 months but when she invites him to Lucky Harbour for Chloe's wedding Nick freezes and Mia is forced to realise that maybe Nick's childhood issues will mean he can never really commit to her. When Mia runs straight off to Lucky Harbour to lick her wounds Nick realises what Mia really means to him but realises he might be too late so heads to Lucky Harbour to win her back.

For a short little Christmas novel Under the Mistletoe has that sprinkling of Jill Shalvis magic making it undeniably sparkly, heart warming and oh so readable. I loved all the little check ins with all the Lucky Harbour favourites fans of the series will love it!

Thanks to Netgalley and Grand Central Publishing for the opportunity to read Under the Mistletoe.
